A short person and a tall person have most of their organs being the same size. Their lungs are the same, they take in the same amount of oxygen. Their stomachs are the same, they need the same amount of food, even though they weigh differently.
For all you athletes out there: Let's assume a short person and a tall person walk the same distance. The shorter person uses the same leg muscles for a longer period of time to get there. The taller person uses longer muscles for a shorter period of time. Which one becomes more athletic?
Edit: Assuming the two walked and ran the same distance: The taller person would win. Leg press after: The shorter person would win.
