You know... so much of history has been lost.

A few years after the invention of the vacuum cleaner, we used to use the handheld version during the beginning of formation of blackheads, somewhere around age 12 by suctioning our noses. People back then never had blackheads. You see... this method suctions the whole thing out including the white part when the blackheads are fresh and not too deep in.

Now they sell creams and do removal at a dermatologist where they only take the black part out, then it forms again, pore strips. It's like they're selling useless remedies. At least the pore strips remove discomfort on the nose for a month, I'll admit they're not totally useless, but the methods of removing acne were better. Vacuum cleaners and Vitamin A.

I'm not sure why things changed, it's as if people want others to look ugly.

Anyway, the vacuum cleaners back then did have problems. When removing a blackhead that way, you're left with a tiny red dot on your nose that takes a month to heal, but hey at least it's good for your pores.
