When I was a child in Bulgaria there would occasionally be people smoking around the marketplace in our state, in Sofia.
Anyway, I was with my mother and secondhanded a bit by accident, we continued walking.
I didn't really like the smell and we walked near a police officer. I said "hey" and he was clueless as to what a child would want from him.
I said, although I don't remember the exact words, so I'll try my best to translate it purely from thought.
"Do you think we should have designated areas for smokers so that other people can choose if they want to breathe in the cigarette smoke? For example say that people can smoke in groups at this part of the market, but not the other part of the market. There are many stores that sell the same exact foods, so this way customers can choose the areas they want to walk to and the ones that they don't."
He really thought about it, and years later when I'm on vacation... Bulgaria actually did this. I walked in multiple areas through the store, and although I very rarely smoke I wanted to light a cigarette. My aunt brought me to another area and there were maybe 14 people smoking in it, I finished my cigarette and we walked back around.
I was thinking of making a petition on change.org about this. The US usually leads many countries by example, so this could be good to implement. There are plenty of grocery stores in each area, and it only requires a bit of a longer walk for some people to reach the ones where there are no smokers.
Of course... I drank coffee mixed with quinine as a kid, which makes you more intelligent but gives dictatorial qualities with time, which is why I was so easily able to speak to many adults even though I was a child.
As for now... this is just newgrounds forums, and we're on a fake internet so I guess... what could one newspost do?
